VIETNAM
Kite-surfing and
wind-surfing are very popular activities in Mui Ne
Vendors on the beach
Mui Ne if famous for its
enormous sand dunes
"Whats your name, where
you from, if you want to slide you tell me, OK?" - every child says
this
As soon as the sun goes
down, everybody disappears
Dunes are even more
beautiful after sunset
Fishing village early in
the morning
Waiting for a boat
Boats bring seafood which
is sorted right there on the beach
This hermit crab was not
running fast enough to get away from me
Small shrimp (or something
that looked like shrimp) drying in the sun
Little boy having
breakfast in Mui Ne village
We rented a motorcycle and
gained FREEDOM! I mean freedom to go and stop where I like
Cemetery on the way to
the "White Sand Dunes"
Cows don't have much to
eat during the dry season
After a long ride finally
we saw the dunes on the other side of the lake
There is a pool of water
making it possible for the trees to grow
In season there are
hundreds of lotus flowering on the lake
It was very hot and
walking up the dunes was quite tiring, but worth the effort
After coming back to Mui
Ne, we visited our favorite place in all of Vietnam - the Fairy Spring
Rock formations are very
colorful but fragile
The only way upstream is
to take off shoes and walk in the water
We loved this little
adventure
